Scones of Cambridge
Scones are so versatile and a Kiwi tradition. We would like to thank our customers who are messaging us regularly with updates of their lockdown antics. Here is a photo from Shane, who has now resorted to making his own Date Scone and Long Black.

Helen our Chef at Absolute gives us her recipe for her Blueberry & Mandarin Scones
- 3 cups of plain flour
- 6 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 50g butter
- 1 1/4 cup of milk
- 1/2 cup of Blueberry
- 1 tsp of Mandarin rind
Makes 12 - Sift dry ingredients in a large bowl. Add cut butter mix into breadcrumbs. Add milk and mix quickly to a soft dough using a knife. Bake at 220 for 10 min.
